The political action of black women in Brazil has been stimulating mentality changes in Brazilian society, denouncing the violent deaths of black people in the country and abroad. Thus, they daily build a social narrative that racism is a crime and black lives matter.

ASSOCIAÇÃO REMANESCENTE DA COMUNIDADE QUILOMBOLA DO AMÉRICA
The association emerged in 2007, when many black traditional communities faced food insecurity. It became recognized by the Fundação Cultural de Palmares and works through articulation with civil society and public powers to conduct anti-racist actions in the quilombola territory and advance public policies for the black people of Bragança (Pará state) in the spheres of education, health, basic sanitation, territory, and territoriality.
