Grupo Conexão G de Cidadania LGBT de Favelas
Founded by a group of young people in 2006 in the “Favelas Maré Complex”. The group aims to minimize prejudices experienced by LGBTQI+ people in the slums, focusing on human rights, health promotion, culture, education, territorial development and public safety, considering the inseparability between the demands of the LGBTQIA+ population and racial issues.
