The political action of black women in Brazil has been stimulating mentality changes in Brazilian society, denouncing the violent deaths of black people in the country and abroad. Thus, they daily build a social narrative that racism is a crime and black lives matter.

Rede de Mulheres Negras do Nordeste
The network emerged in 2013, from the process of mobilization and rearticulation of black women’s organizations in the Northeast region, within the scope of the project “Tecendo a Rede de Mulheres Negras do NE”. Its main objective is to build the process of articulation and mobilization of youth organizations and cis, trans and black lesbian women organizations to construct a joint agenda of political incidence to confront racism, sexism, lesbitransphobia and hunger.
