The political action of black women in Brazil has been stimulating mentality changes in Brazilian society, denouncing the violent deaths of black people in the country and abroad. Thus, they daily build a social narrative that racism is a crime and black lives matter.

It emerged from the broad gathering of female activists for a new drug policy in Brazil, with its focus on defending the human rights of groups of women affected by the prohibitionist model, namely black women, incarcerated women, sex workers, drug users, homeless women, mothers who are victims of violence and survivors of the system.
