ASSOCIAÇÃO REMANESCENTE DA COMUNIDADE QUILOMBOLA DO AMÉRICA
The association emerged in 2007, when many black traditional communities faced food insecurity. It became recognized by the Fundação Cultural de Palmares and works through articulation with civil society and public powers to conduct anti-racist actions in the quilombola territory and advance public policies for the black people of Bragança (Pará state) in the spheres of education, health, basic sanitation, territory, and territoriality.
